Affiliate Disclosure
We keep this simple and honest: some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, Oikos may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate, Oikos earns from qualifying purchases. The "Shop on Amazon" links in our furnishing checklist are Amazon affiliate links. When you click one, you're taken to an Amazon search for that item; if you buy, Amazon pays us a small percentage. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.
Other affiliate links
A few of the recommended tools and services on the site (for example, dynamic-pricing software, short-term-rental insurance, or property-management platforms) are also affiliate links. We mark these as sponsored where relevant. We only ever recommend products and services we think are genuinely useful to short-term-rental hosts — the commission never changes what we'd recommend.
Why we do this
These tools are free, with no signup wall. Affiliate commissions and our own co-hosting services are how we cover the cost of building and maintaining them. If a recommendation isn't right for you, skip it — the tools work exactly the same either way.
